New Here?

Who are we?

Cornerstone Church  is a place where we want to participate in God’s plan to change the community and world.  This begins with transformation in our hearts as we meet together and hear the scriptures read and taught, as we sing songs of thankfulness and praise to God, and through building community together.  Whoever you are, and wherever your journey has taken you, we want you to experience connection with God through the community of worship here at Cornerstone Church

When to Arrive?

If it’s your first time then it’s best to arrive around 10-15 minutes early to our weekend worship experience. Our hospitality team will be there at the door to welcome you and answer any questions you might have or to help you find your way around the facility.  Parents, bring your children with you into the service.  During our service we want families to be together so our children can experience gathering as the church with all of us. We do understand that it can be more difficult for smaller children to be in the service so we do provide nursery for infants up to age 3 during the entire service.  We also provide a teaching time for children ages 4 through to grade 1 and they will be dismissed approximately half way through the service.  We aim to have the service time run approximately 65 minutes.

What to expect?

For some people going anywhere for the first time can be a bit of an uncertain experience. To help alleviate any anxiety here’s a quick summary of what you can expect at Cornerstone Church:  Wear whatever you feel comfortable in. Our church dresses in many different ways, from business casual to shorts and sandals, and we encourage everyone to dress as they feel comfortable. When our worship service starts you will be invited to join in for a time of singing worship songs. We always have the words projected on our large screens in case the song is new to you.  Other elements you might see included are, a time of greeting, scripture readings, offering, special songs, and short video segments.  Our lead pastor will then share a message from the pages of Scripture.  We then conclude with a time of worship in music.  We have a prayer team that is available to meet with you at the conclusion of the worship time.
